Every dealership is checked against public business records before it can carry a verified badge — legal name, physical address, and an active operating status.
Review authenticity
Reviews pass through screening before publication. We look at purchase context, submission patterns and language fingerprints, and hold anything ambiguous for human moderation.
Continuous monitoring
Verification is not a one-time stamp. Profiles are re-checked over time, and sudden rating anomalies trigger an automatic re-review of the dealer’s recent activity.
Community reporting
Every review carries a report action. Flagged content is re-examined by a moderator, and the outcome is reflected on the profile — removals included.

A verified badge means VerifiedDealers confirmed the dealership is a real, operating business — its legal identity, location and contact details checked against public records. It is a statement about authenticity, not an endorsement of quality; the rating tells that story.
Can a dealership remove a negative review?+
No. Dealers can respond publicly, and they can flag a review they believe violates the guidelines — but removal decisions are made by moderators against the same standard used for every profile.
How do you detect fake reviews?+
A combination of automated screening (submission patterns, device signals, language fingerprints) and human moderation. Suspicious reviews are held before publication rather than removed after the fact.
Do dealers pay to be listed?+
Listing and claiming a profile are free. Paid plans add management tools — responding at scale, widgets, analytics — and never affect ranking, rating or verification.
